Billing Details

Accurate fiscal identification is essential for legal compliance, corporate taxation, and invoice reconciliation. The Billing Details section displays your organization's verified corporate identity, VAT registration, tax office jurisdiction, and official headquarters address.

Every invoice issued for messaging credit top-ups automatically incorporates this legal data, ensuring seamless alignment with cross-border European Union (EU) VAT rules and domestic accounting standards.

1. Invoice Details Overview

All top-up payments and issued invoices are legally bound to your organization's verified corporate profile. To ensure full compliance with international tax regulations and domestic accounting requirements, confirm that your information matches your official corporate filings.

2. Displayed Company Information

The Billing Details screen displays the following verified business parameters:

  • Legal Company Name: The officially registered corporate name of your business (e.g., Acme Retail Enterprises S.A.).
  • Registered Business Activity: The primary commercial sector or industry classification registered with your corporate registrar.
  • VAT / Tax ID: Your registered corporate tax identifier, including the international country code prefix (e.g., EL123456789 or DE987654321).
  • Tax Authority Office: The local tax bureau or governmental tax office responsible for corporate tax assessments in your jurisdiction.
  • Street Address: The official physical or corporate headquarters street address.
  • Postal Code: The registered postal / ZIP routing code.
  • City: The city or municipality of corporate registration.
  • Province / Region: The state, province, or administrative region.
  • Country: The country of incorporation.

3. Tax Compliance & EU VAT Rules

Abelo ensures automated adherence to cross-border European Union and international fiscal standards:

  • EU Cross-Border B2B (Reverse Charge):
    • For businesses registered in the European Union outside of Greece holding a valid VIES-registered VAT number, invoices are issued under the EU VAT Directive reverse-charge mechanism (Article 196 of Directive 2006/112/EC).
    • In such cases, 0% VAT is charged on your top-ups, and your organization accounts for the VAT in your domestic tax filings.
  • Domestic & Non-EU Entities:
    • Greek organizations and entities without valid cross-border VAT registration receive invoices with the statutory local VAT rate clearly itemized.
    • Non-EU international corporate customers receive non-EU export invoices in accordance with international tax conventions.

4. Updating Billing Details

To maintain fiscal integrity and prevent retroactive audit discrepancies on previously issued invoices, corporate invoicing parameters are protected against unauthorized modification.

If your company undergoes a change of legal name, corporate restructuring, VAT ID change, or headquarters relocation:

  1. Gather official documentation reflecting the update (e.g., updated corporate registry extract or tax office certificate).
  2. Contact Abelo Support or your dedicated account manager.
  3. Our compliance team will verify the details and update your invoicing profile for all future transactions.
