Organization¶
Managing your organization's settings ensures your workspace accurately represents your commercial brand, applies consistent regional formatting, and equips team members with appropriate access permissions.
From defining your primary currency and industry vertical to inviting collaborators and assigning role-based access control (RBAC), organization settings keep your team aligned and your operations secure.
1. Organization Profile¶
Your organization profile defines the commercial entity and default formatting for your Abelo account:
- Organization Name: The commercial name of your business or brand.
- Website URL: Your primary company or storefront URL.
- Industry: The primary business vertical (e.g., Retail & E-commerce, Fashion & Apparel, Electronics, Health & Beauty).
- Country: The primary country of operation.
- Default Currency: The currency code used for credit billing, campaign cost estimates, and attribution analytics (e.g.,
EUR,USD,GBP). - Default Locale: Determines how dates, numbers, and currency values are formatted across the CMS (e.g.,
en-US,el-GR).
Automatic Store Synchronization
If an e-commerce store (such as Shopify or WooCommerce) is connected to your organization, Country, Currency, and Locale are automatically inherited from your store settings and locked in Abelo to ensure consistency across order and revenue tracking.
2. Platform Roles & Permissions¶
Abelo supports four distinct user roles to support team collaboration while protecting account security and operational access:
| Role | Access Level & Key Responsibilities |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full administrative and legal access. Can manage billing and payment methods, invite team members, adjust roles, and transfer organization ownership. |
| Admin | Full operational access. Can configure messaging channels, connect stores, manage developer API keys, invite team members, and execute campaigns. |
| Campaign Manager | Focuses on marketing execution. Can create and send campaigns, design templates, manage dynamic variables, and organize audience lists and segments. |
| Analytics Manager | Focuses on performance review. Has read-only access to dashboard insights, campaign delivery analytics, and audience reports. |
3. Team Members & Invitations¶
The Team Members section lists all active users and pending invitations for your organization.
Inviting a New Team Member¶
To invite a colleague to your organization:
- In the Team Members section, click Invite Member.
- Enter the colleague's Email Address.
- Select their initial platform role (Admin, Campaign Manager, or Analytics Manager).
- Click Send Invitation.
The recipient receives an invitation email containing an activation link. If they already have an Abelo account, the invitation appears directly in their Account Settings under Pending Invitations.
Managing Active Members¶
Authorized Owners and Admins can manage existing team members from the action menu next to each user:
- Change Role: Update an existing team member's role to adjust their permissions.
- Remove from Organization: Revokes the user's access to the organization immediately. The user's account remains active, but they can no longer access your workspace.
- Transfer Ownership: Available exclusively to the current Owner. Allows transferring account ownership to an existing active member. Upon confirmation, the previous owner is reassigned to an Admin role.
Managing Pending Invitations¶
Invitations that have not yet been accepted appear in the members list marked as Invited:
- Resend Invitation: Sends a fresh invitation email with an updated activation token.
- Cancel Invitation: Revokes the pending invitation link and prevents the recipient from joining.
